Google Maps is one of the most humane inventions of our time. It gives us the ability to see the land we inhabit from above. Zooming in and out, the lives of our cities are apparent in the purposes we assign to the land and the histories we decide. As seem from above, the patterns of divided spaces give voice to a specific areas and their histories. Each city is a creature with a personality defined by geography, past decisions and biological systems.

San Francisco is a creature of the journey.

At the heart are the heights in which we reflect on the past and the beauty of the present. Any one moment in which thousands of our neighbors are climbing the hill that millions have previously. It is an urban environment built on exploring the nature of ourselves and the world.
